Blabbering: Mystery Monday

Happy beginning of the week! Let’s start it off right with a bit of a game. This is a recurring game on this blog, soย if you want further detail about it, I’d suggest you click here.

So without further ado, let the guessing begin.

  1. The first is The Girl on the Train, I think? I haven’t read it, but I’ve seen the trailer for the new movie! And then the second is Anna of Karenina, hands down.

      1. I loved Anna the character. I found her fascinating, and I loved reading her descent into madness. Tolstoy wrote her character brilliantly. Her final chapters were spellbinding. The book was good, but if I were to read it again I’d just read the parts with Anna and skip the rest.

        1. Hahahaha. I’m glad you appreciated her so much. I agree that she was done really well (which is probably why I couldn’t stand her) and the last few chapters were intense, but my gosh I don’t think I could ever that book again – ESPECIALLY her parts! Agree to disagree (;

  2. don’t know the first, but the second is the worst book I’ve ever tried to read twice, Anna K!!
    too bad she didn’t throw herself under the train earlier to spare us the misery!
