August. I swear it’s the most disappointing month of the year for me. By this point in the summer I am completely over the heat, yet the triple digits are unrelenting. The days are getting shorter, so I feel like fall is around the corner, but it’s definitely not. The good thing that happened this month is that I went on a tour of the Southwestern US! I saw several national parks, and was surprised by how much I actually loved it! Hooray for doing new things!

One Classic and One ARC Per Month

It’s a personal goal to read a classic and advanced readers copy each month. This month I hit my goal, yay! I loved ALL of these books!

Classic: A Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and Black Beauty by Anne Sewell
ARC: Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff (umm, this book was amazing btw. Keep an eye out for my review next week!)
