Turns out my “guess the book” game fared pretty well. I’m going to make this a Monday thing (hence the dorky title). Are you unsure of what I’m talking about? Click here to see the original post that includes an explanation.
So here are your next books to guess. I’ll give you guys 1-2 days to respond, and then I’ll let the commenters know the answer. If you have no idea what the books are but want to know, just comment so I can be sure to tell you the answer later.
Comment guesses or your “I have no freaking clue”s below!
A. S. Thornton has evolved from book blogger (at “the bandar blog”) to author with a particular fondness for writing forbidden love in ancient deserts. Thornton’s debut, DAUGHTER OF THE SALT KING is available now wherever books are sold.

I think the first one’s Jungle Book? And I had to look up what “pachyderm” meant, but my best guess is Water for Elephants. Don’t know if I’m right but I’m going for it!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
First one was A Little Princess, but Jungle Book was a super good guess!! The second one was indeed Water for Elephants. Nice job 😀

My guess for the first one is A Little Princess, and A Water For Elephants for the second. What a fun idea!!
Love
Agree!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
You got it! 😀 I’m glad you enjoyed it. I love puzzles and word games, so I figured this would appeal to those like me. I’ll be doing another one next Monday so make sure you check it out (:

Excellent!! I will definitely be on the lookout for the next one. And now you have made me want to reread A Little Princess or rewatch the excellent miniseries from 1986. 🙂

I really wanted the first one to be Aladdin, but then I realized that’s not a book nor in India. Second one has got to definitely be Water for Elephants.
Ali (@thebandarblog)
Lol. But the real question is: Why isn’t Aladdin a book? I feel like that needs to be a thing. And, of course, you’re correct on the second. 😀
Ali (@thebandarblog)
Oh! And the first one was A Little Princes!

A Little Princess and Water for Elephants!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
You got it girl! Nice job! 😀

Pretty sure the first one is A Little Princess (which a friend gave me as a wedding present, and I want to reread actually) but have NO IDEA what the second one is…
Ali (@thebandarblog)
The first was indeed A Little Princess! Nice job (: The second was Water For Elephants. Did you ever read that book? It was a good one! Thanks for playing 😀
anhdara13
I’ve never read Water For Elephants. It never seemed like my sort of thing. Might look it up though (:

This is SO fun! I didn’t know either, and my guesses were WAYYY off, but I definitely want to play again!
OH- and when I read the first post with your examples, I kind of missed that they were examples, and was so proud of myself for figuring out the two easiest books in history ? LOVE this game!!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
Hahahaha. Well I promise that when it’s a book you’re really familiar with, you’ll know right away! I have another one lined up for Monday so you’ll have to take a stab at it then 😀 I’m trying to keep the books pretty well-known!
