Happy last Monday of June! Here’s your weekly Mystery Monday post. Can you guess this week’s books? (Wondering what I’m talking about? Click here.)
If you think you know, take your guesses down below. If you have no idea, but want me to clue you in, just comment whatever you want down below. I’ll give the answers in a couple of days.
Are you a book blogger who enjoys this? If you think you’d like to do a guest Mystery Monday post, shoot me an e-mail on the “Contact” page or let me know down below! It’d be fun to get other brains in on this!
A. S. Thornton has evolved from book blogger (at “the bandar blog”) to author with a particular fondness for writing forbidden love in ancient deserts. Thornton’s debut, DAUGHTER OF THE SALT KING is available now wherever books are sold.

Is it The Hobbit? I love these Mystery Monday posts, by the way!

This week’s answers (just in case you’re curious) was Dune by Frank Herbert, and the second one was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez!

I think it’s Dune by Frank Herbert. I never read it, but I’ve heard about it over the years. I do enjoy this weekly post 🙂
Ali (@thebandarblog)
Yay! You got Dune right for sure! The second was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez! 😀 Thanks for playing.
Rita @ View From My Books
Ah! I didn’t read the second book so that’s why I was left scratching my head. This was fun!

These are tough this week! I have absolutely no idea with either of them!! 🙂
Ali (@thebandarblog)
I’ll have to make up for it with easier ones next week, haha! The first one was Dune by Frank Herbert, and the second one was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez!

Good grief. I haven’t read Dune, so am not surprised to miss that, but I have read Love in the Time of Cholera. Whoops! Should’ve gotten that one! And now I totally see it.

Hmmmm… I’m stumped!!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
You weren’t the only one! Apparently this was a hard one this week: The first one was Dune by Frank Herbert, and the second one was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez!

And I would love to do a guest spot! That would be the best!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
The first one was Dune by Frank Herbert, and the second one was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez! And so glad you’d like to participate! I couldn’t find a “contact me” method through your blog- do you have a good e-mail address for me to use?
quillable
Ohhh yeah those totally make sense now! And oh my gosh I’m just realizing I don’t have my contact info up on it! Jeepers! #amateurhour ?

Dune and Love in the Time of Cholera, one of the best love stories ever!
Ali (@thebandarblog)
You got it! And you were the only one to get Love in the Time of Cholera, so bravo to you!

Ooohh I have absolutely NO CLUE what these are. I’ve realised I don’t know a lot of ‘adult’ books haha.
Ali (@thebandarblog)
Hahah. I try to mix it up, but apparently I chose a couple of more challenging adult ones this week. The first one was Dune by Frank Herbert, and the second one was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez!
