Blabbering: Mystery Monday + the New Site is LIVE!

Hello friends! If you’ve been wondering why the site has been quiet for the past week (it’s okay… I know that none of you have), it’s because I’ve been working on this brand-new site makeover (you can’t tell me it’s not GORGEOUS)! Since it’s still in a bit of a transition, I’m not sure who is receiving notifications of this post and who isn’t. If you were notified of the post, would you mind commenting so down below? You can also take a guess at today’s books while you’re at it!

Do you know what books I’m describing? If so, leave your guesses in the comment section below. If you don’t have any idea, but you want me to clue you in, comment whatever you want down below! I’ll respond with answers in a couple of days.

      1. And just so you know the first one was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The second was New Moon (:

    1. Okay well that’s good to know. Thank you for telling me! Are you following via e-mail or are you following via wordpress? This stuff is so confusing to my computer-illiterate brain!

  1. Sadly, I’m stumbling across your blog for the first time. I will definitely have to follow you here though 🙂 I haven’t a slightest clue to either of the books you are describing above, but I must say the first one, peaks my interest and I would like to know what that one is all about. Thanks for the post!

    1. Welcome to my blog- thanks for stopping by! The first one was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The second was New Moon (:

  2. I received an email notification of the post 🙂 Love the new site! Hope self-hosting works well for you. I’ve been thinking about doing the same one day, for more customization. I’m actually going to be taking a web design class this fall!
My guesses for this week’s trivia are Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the first, and then for the second I’m guessing one of the Twilight books – I can’t remember which one Edward had left and Bella got close to Jacob. Is it New Moon? And if I’m right, very tricky of you to not choose the first in the series 🙂

    1. That’s so cool you’re taking a web design class. This crazy coding stuff is SO over my head, but I am enjoying self-hosting so far (minus the first week which gave me a non-stop headache! Thank goodness bluehost has excellent customer service – I probably spoke with them on the phone for 10+ hours and at all times of day!). Anyway, you’re always so dang good at these mystery monday posts! You got them again (yes, it’s New Moon). And I guess it was being a bit tricky, but these are such popular books I had to make them a little tougher!

  3. I LOVE THE NEW LAYOUT. also I get an email notification about your new post (:

I am not sure of the first, but I *think* the second might be New Moon? It’s the only thing that I can think of, anyway. Haha.

    1. Thanks Anhadara! And you got the second one – definitely New Moon (: The first one is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 😀 I was a little trickier with these popular novels…

    1. That’s annoying! Thank you for telling me. Maybe that’s part of the weird transition. WP said it won’t work as well unless the follower re-subscribes so maybe the email part is working but the elements aren’t. 😖

    1. Thank you so much (: I appreciate your kind words! And as for the books: the first one was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The second was New Moon (:

    1. Thank you! The books were Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and the second book in the Twilight series, New Moon. Decided to go for some super popular series but make them a little tricker 😀
