How many times have you read about a place in a book and thought, man, that sounds really dang nice. I feel like I’ve thought that a million times! So now I’m choosing some of my top bookish vacation destinations. It’s perfect timing, because the day this post is published happens to coincide with a day that I’m sitting on a beach in Cancun. I raise my margarita glass to you! Enjoy reading and don’t forget to chime in with your thoughts below. Cheers!

1. Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, of course!

Luckily we can also sort of do that by going to Universal Studios. But seeing the real Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley would be quite fun.

2. Jurassic Park/Jurassic World (um, obvi before dinosaur escapage).

Who doesn’t want to go to SEE DINOSAURS!?!?!?!?!!? WHO?! NO ONE. Everyone wants to see dinosaurs, and the 12-year-old boy soul inside me especially wants to.

3. Red London (before everything is all corrupted by dark magic).

I want to visit a magical London where the river glows red and everything smells like flowers. Sign me up for a 1-week stay in the castle right now. Please and thank you.

4. The world of Heartless! (again, before everything got all dark… and definitely before the Red Queen takes her throne)

This world sounded like so much fun! Everything so bright, colorful, edible, and fluffy! I just want to bounce around, buy lots of cake, and laze about on the lush grass as amazing things happen all around me.

5. The world of Warm Bodies.

Look, I just want to live through a zombie apocalypse ONCE, and this one doesn’t seem so bad. Plus, bonus points if I fall in love with a really nice zombie who then turns into a human.

6. The Spring Court!

Disclaimer: I haven’t actually read ACOMAF yet, so don’t get all huffy about my answer not being the Night Court or Winter Court or whatever. All I know is that I would love to live somewhere that has perpetual spring. Although perpetual autumn also sounds kind of nice…

Now tell me: what bookish destination would you like an all-expense-paid trip to??
