Happy Halloween my friends! Let me just say, this October was straight-up busy. I don’t know if you remember, but the past few Octobers that I have been blogging, I’ve done a Halloween Bonanza. This October I wasn’t able to organize it because of lame life stuff, so that was a bummer. Overall, I didn’t get to do as many spooky things this month as I normally like, but next year will be different! In the meantime, let’s wrap up what I did manage to do this month.
One Classic and One ARC Per Month
Part of my blogging resolutions is to read a classic and advanced readers copy each month.
Classic: I read 50% of Journey to the Center of the Earth and had to quit, because I was sooo uninterested. Boooo.
ARC: Another DNF. I started The Gilded Wolves Roshani Chokshi, and promptly realized it was a heist book. (I hate heist books, so I knew it wasn’t going to do anything for me).
October Book Reviews

Now that October is essentially behind us, what are your plans for November (reading or life plans)?
A.S. Thornton has evolved from book blogger to author with a particular fondness for writing forbidden love in ancient deserts. When not writing, she’s caring for dogs and cats as a veterinarian. You’ll never find animals at the center of her writing, though, because those fictional worlds don’t have veterinarians and her literal brain can’t accept that the poor critters would be without parasite prevention. Thornton’s debut, DAUGHTER OF THE SALT KING is available wherever books are sold.

Your bookstagram is so pretty! I love the photo with the ribbon. I’m doing Nonfiction November, so I’m hoping to read tons of nonfiction. I hope you have a good November!

Ooh I love that second Bookstagram photo. So pretty! I’m trying to do more book related pics for my own Insta. They’re fun! 🙂 Sorry October was busy with lame life stuff. Hate when that happens! I hope November is better though. I’m going to NYC this month … crazy to think it’s THIS month finally, but I’m excited. I’m going with some friends, and I get to meet a couple bloggers, and I’m seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. YAY!

Enjoy HP! I bet that is going to be extremely fun (regardless how you felt about the script, I’m sure the production will be awesome)!

Sorry to hear that your reading wasn’t that great regarding your monthly challenges. But next month there are new chances. 🙂
