Let’s talk about our book line-up: what books we’ve just read, are currently reading, and plan to read next. Sound like a plan to you? Comment your answers at end of the post!
The three W’s stand for the questions that I’ll be answering today:
1) What are you currently reading?
2) What did you recently finish reading?
3) What do you think you’ll read next?
Easy and fun. So let’s get to it.
1. What are you currently reading?
I’m re-reading The Mime Order (and it’s even more fun the second time around!). This is the second book in The Bone Season Series (if you haven’t heard of this or picked it up yet, see why you should read The Bone Season here!). I’m currently listening to (and ABSOLUTELY LOVING) The Bronze Horseman. Seriously, The Bronze Horseman is absolute perfection so far. I feel like this book was written FOR ME. I have zero complaints and I just can’t gush about it enough (granted, I’ve only listened to 11 of the 31 hours of it, so….).
2. What did you recently finish reading?
The last physical book I read was Gemina, and the last audiobook I finished was The Hike. I was lukewarm about both. Click the links to see my thoughts for each.
3. What do you think you’ll read next?
The next physical book I’ll read is my ARC (advanced reader copy) of Ever the Hunted (comes out in December!). The next audiobook I think I’ll read is Cinder (if the library checks it out to me by the time I’m done with 20 remaining hours of The Bronze Horseman…). Apparently I’ll be back on young adult kick.
Please feel free to answer the questions yourself! I’d love to know what you all are reading, just finished, or plan to pick up! Have you read any of these books??
“WWW Wednesday” is a weekly meme created by Should Be Reading (though I think this blog has closed now?).
A.S. Thornton has evolved from book blogger to author with a particular fondness for writing forbidden love in ancient deserts. When not writing, she’s caring for dogs and cats as a veterinarian. You’ll never find animals at the center of her writing, though, because those fictional worlds don’t have veterinarians and her literal brain can’t accept that the poor critters would be without parasite prevention. Thornton’s debut, DAUGHTER OF THE SALT KING is available wherever books are sold.

W1. Iam currently reading Rebecca by Daphne due Maurier, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and Reboot by Amy Tintera. I usually don’t read this multiple copies at the same time but I am kinda in a slump and trying to read different things… Also I am dozing, or trying to at least, my outlander read (which is hard as it is so addicting for me!), because I am buddy reading it with a really slow reader…hehe
W2. My last (and only read) of this month was One Shot by Lee Child. It’s turning out to be an extremely low and lazy month this one…
W3. Sticking to my TBR I’ll go ahead next for The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak and Mansfield Park by Jane Austen + Rebel (Reboot #2) by Amy Tintera.

Oooooh I just recently read Rebecca (well, I listened to the audiobook, and I realized halfway through that it was abridged, which was a bummer), and I loved it so much! So melodramatic! Outlander is a fun one (: The Bronze Horseman (the audiobook I’m currently listening to) is so freaking addictive that it’s making reading anything else right now miserable. I’m worried it’s going to send me into a slump once I finish!

Nooo those are the worst!!haha Well I am planning on reading that one too!! I’ve heard really good things about it and maybe it’s better to read it on audiobook because it’s a beast! I am enjoying Rebecca I really like the writing and I am intrigued about what will happen I am just so slow at it!

I have The Bone Season and planning to read it soon! 😀 I just finished Made You Up (great book, loved it) and am currently reading Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer. I just bought Heartless yesterday so I guess it’ll be my next read 🙂
Ali
I’m reading Heartless after my current read, too. I hope I like it as much as other people!

Ohhh Cinder! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did, this series is one of my favorites 🙂
Ali
Me, too! I’m still waiting on the library, but whenever it comes I hope I enjoy it!
