It’s been a while since I’ve shared my to-read list with y’all, so I thought I’d let you know what’s currently on my spring TBR. If you’ve read any, make sure you chime in at the end and let me know what you thought of them!
1. The One by John Marrs
This one arrived on my doorstep randomly (thanks Del Rey books1), and it sounds right up my alley. They say this is a book for fans of the TV show, Black Mirror, which I totally am. I’m excited to read it!
2. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
I have heard 100 million good things about this epic fantasy series. I need to read it ASAP.
3. The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
I received this in my February Blu’s Bookish Bag (if you haven’t checked that out yet, click the link! It’s a fun book club subscription!). At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to read it, but I have heard so many good things that now I have to!
4. Reboot by Amy Tintura
My bookstagram secret santa got this one for me (it was one of her favorites), so I’m super excited to read it!
5. Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
I recently read the first in this series, Scythe, and while I definitely liked it, I wasn’t over the moon about it. I normally wouldn’t be picking up the second one in the series unless it was a 4+ star rating, but SO MANY people raved about this sequel that I feel like I have to read it!
6. Heart’s Blood by Juliet Marillier
This one keeps being on my TBR and not getting read. Hopefully this time it will actually get read??? I loved Daughter of the Forest, and Marillier fans recommend this one next. I really should read it ASAP.
What books are on your spring TBR?
This was a Top Ten Tuesday (..that I’m doing on Saturday) prompt created by Artsy Reader Girl.
A.S. Thornton has evolved from book blogger to author with a particular fondness for writing forbidden love in ancient deserts. When not writing, she’s caring for dogs and cats as a veterinarian. You’ll never find animals at the center of her writing, though, because those fictional worlds don’t have veterinarians and her literal brain can’t accept that the poor critters would be without parasite prevention. Thornton’s debut, DAUGHTER OF THE SALT KING is available wherever books are sold.

I hope you enjoy them! I’m going to be reading Thunderhead soon. I loved the first book.

Yes, it was fun! I’m excited about Thunderhead, but not excited about the fact that there’s another book after that I have to wait for!

I really need to get to The Name of the Wind this year as well. And I am very curious about the Scythe books. 😀 Good luck with getting to them all this Spring. 🙂
