2. Jurassic Park

1. A Court of Mist and Fury

LOL. I am slightly (but not really) ashamed that a YA paranormal romance/fantasy novel is my #1 book of the year, but this book was so legit that I can’t even pretend I wasn’t obsessed.

What were some of your top read books of 2017?

  1. ACOMAF because paint and soup. I hadn’t read anything by Sarah J. Maas before August – I think? – and now I’m on a roll. I’m going through the Throne of Glass-series as well but nobody can beat Rhysand anymore. It’s simply impossible!

I have a copy of Nevernight on my physical TBR but I’m holding off on reading it. Everybody keeps telling me that I’ll want to buy the sequel immediately and after reading that one I’ll end up being a blubbering mess because I’ll have to wait for the third book for ages? [I seriously heard that dozens of times by now so I don’t even have the guts to pick up Nevernight anymore, haha!]

    1. Hahahahah, well good to know nothing beats Rhysand. TOG is on my TBR for 2018, so we’ll see what I think. As far as Nevernight goes – yes, if you like it, you’ll be a blubbering mess for sure!!

  2. Salt to the Sea was also on my list, it was just beautiful! Also, your list reminded me that I should finish the ADSOM series as I only read the first book. It seems like you had a great year and read some lovely books!! Great post!
