This is always a fun topic of conversation. I noticed that in general, my favorite bookish couples are all from longer novels. I guess I need a longer story to get into them? Who are you favorite bookish couples, or as you’ll find in the book-world “OTP” (one true pairing)?

1. Edward and Bella

Honestly, they are probably the *original* bookish couple, so I had to include them! These book created such an intense fandom, I think it’s responsible for a lot of the OTP/book boyfriend stuff we see today!

2. Alexander and Tatiana

UGH these two go through some serious ish. Sometimes I loved them as a couple, sometimes I hated them. But I read almost 2000 pages of their relationship, because I HAD TO KNOW HOW THEIR STORY ENDED. And I don’t regret it for a second.

3. Matthew and Diana

a discovery of witches
I consider Matthew and Diana the more adult/sophisticated/better Edward and Bella. I ADORE THEM.

4. Rhett and Scarlett

gone with the wind
WAHHHHHH these two are so perfect for each other. UGH WHY IS THIS BOOK SO BRUTAL.

5. Mr. Rochester and Jane

OMG maybe I amend my statement about Edward and Bella being the original OTP and say that these two definitely are. *swoon*

6. View Spoiler » and Feyre

I had to put the spoiler on the name, since that was majorly spoiled for me before I read the series. And if you haven’t read it yet, DON’T CLICK THE SPOILER LINK. These two are definitely a favorite couple of mine. Meow.

7. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth

pride and prejudice

Because, duh. I really need to re-read this book ASAP.

8. Lancelot and Guinevere

the once and future king
Ugh, I LOVED THESE TWO.

9. Saalim and Emel

Bahaha, okay this is sort of a joke (but not really). These are actually the two characters from my novel. They’re definitely one of my favorite bookish couples (especially when I think of all that I have planned for them. *rubs hands together* Muhahaha). The photos above are “aesthetics” (basically a photo representation of their character) for each of them.

Who is your favorite bookish couple?
