Can’t say that I had the most remarkable bookish February of all-time. I’m listening to the LONGEST EVER audiobook (Gone with the Wind), so I made very little audiobook progress this month. I also read a very long book for the first half of February. It wasn’t until I realized February was almost over and I hadn’t read my one ARC yet, that I finally paused that book to pick up another one. So really I read basically one book this month? Two others are still in the process. WOW LAME. But. But. But. BUT! I went to Disneyland this month, so that made everything better.

One Classic and One ARC Per Month

Part of my blogging resolutions is to read a classic and advanced readers copy each month.
Classic: In the second half of Gone with the Wind. This audiobook is 50 hours long, so it’s okay that I didn’t finish it all this month.
ARC: Unbury Carol by Josh Malerman. My review will be up closer to release date (in April).

Links I Loved

  1. Kristen, from Metaphors and Moonlight, posted about a great way to blog hop using Feedly!
  2. Austine, form Novel Knight, has post that allows bloggers to put all their social media links in one place to make them easier to follow across the board!
  3.  Marie, from Drizzle and Hurricane Books, discussed how complicated simply rating books can be!
  4.  Trang from Bookidote listed what makes a book good and how she rates her 5 star books. –
  5. Shannon from It Starts at Midnight talked about “culling books” from your TBR. This is something we all can relate to, I’m sure.

February’s Best of Bookstagram

In very scandalous bookstagram news, I’ve changed up my theme, so now my photos are moodier. At first the change was rough on my color-loving soul, but you moody fools like these photos so much better! So since the masses are all about it, I’ve come to accept the moodier look is the way to go for now.
