How was your reading month? What was your favorite book you read in February?
A.S. Thornton has evolved from book blogger to author with a particular fondness for writing forbidden love in ancient deserts. When not writing, she’s caring for dogs and cats as a veterinarian. You’ll never find animals at the center of her writing, though, because those fictional worlds don’t have veterinarians and her literal brain can’t accept that the poor critters would be without parasite prevention. Thornton’s debut, DAUGHTER OF THE SALT KING is available wherever books are sold.

Great month. I loved Dark Matter
Ali
It was really fun! I am excited about the movie prospects!
Lucille
Beautiful stack of books! I really must read Dark Matter and Vengeance Road!
My favourites I read this month were ARCs, “Queens of geek” and “Winter Tide” 🙂
Ali
Oooh I love it when I actually like an ARC! I feel like too often I don’t enjoy them because I’m picking them randomly rather than having any others’ opinions to go off of! XD
Amber
YAY! so happy to hear you gave Salt to the Sea a 5/5. I’m dying to read it. I just haven’t been in the mood. I’m also scared to read it because Between Shades of Gray by Ruta nearly destroyed my soul.

It’s so funny, I never gave “Between Shades of Gray” a second thought because of the title and cover (I thought it was some sort of 50 shades fan fiction — [can you imagine? fan fiction of fan fiction? XD]), but after I read Salt to the Sea I realized UM NO this is very likely a legit book. SO now I’ve looked into it and want to read it, too! I love historical fiction!

Your bookstagram pictures are gorgeous, love all the colors! <3
Ali
Thank you so much (:

Ok, how do you have so many books with such GORGEOUS spines?! Those are amazing! I especially love the red and black ones!
Ali
Barnes & Noble has those books with the pretty spines, and that store is my kryptonite! XD
Emily @ Loony Literate
LOL I love that you DNF’d Roseblood. So disappointed with that book. *sigh* But omg, I’ve been stalking your Bookstagram and I’m sooooo jealous of your Barnes and Nobles haha.
Ali
Yeah that book left much to be desired 😐 B&N is my weakness, all my extra funds goes straight into their books. DANG THEM.
